The current 10 play Samsung Tizen app does not require a login, meaning you do not need to Activate the device. 


We are working on a new app that will fix some known issues on the existing app (including the ability to watch Live TV, and issues with freezing). When this is released and you have updated the app, you will be prompted to Activate your TV. 

If you are being prompted to Activate your Samsung TV, please Submit a Ticket, including what Samsung TV model you have, and a screenshot of the prompt so we can investigate for you.
