The current 10 Samsung Tizen app does not require a login, meaning you do not need to activate the device. 


We have a new app that is being rolled out for TV's 2018 and newer. This new app will fix some known issues on the existing app (including the ability to watch Live TV, and issues with freezing). When this is released and you have updated the app, you will be prompted to activate your TV.
