Captions are available on 10 Live TV for web, and we're implementing them across new apps as we release them.

If you are having difficulty finding closed captions on a Live show, please send us a ticket with the show you are trying to watch, and let us know what you are trying to watch it on, so we can send through specific instructions.

Please note: Unfortunately, not all programs on 10 have captions, however, we'll continue to add them to more programs and devices as they become available.

Web Users

To turn captions on for web you'll need to be watching Live TV on either 10, 10 Comedy or 10 Drama.

Once you've started live streaming, click the speech bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of the video. Upon clicking, the speech bubble should go completely white and this will turn the captions on. Click it again to turn it off, the inside area will be greyed out.

This will be turned off by default.

Apple TV Users

Captions for Live TV can be activated and deactivated by interacting with the touchpad on your remote and bringing up the information screen.

Once you have done this, move your focus to the CC icon and click it to either turn the captions ON or OFF (there is an indication that will tell you if they are ON or OFF).

Other Users

The below devices will also allow you to watch Live TV on 10 with captions as long as you have downloaded the latest version of the app:

  • Android TV
  • Amazon Fire TV
